Fandango teams up with BACVA for New Visitors Center opening

BALTMORE, MD - March 9, 2004 - Fandango Special Events is working in tandem with the Baltimore Area Convention and Visitors Association (BACVA) to plan and manage the Grand Opening Events for the new Visitors Center. The task force is being co-chaired by Kent Digby, general manager of Harborplace & The Gallery, and Ted Venetoulis, chairman of H&V Publishing, Inc. The new Baltimore Visitor Center will officially open to the public on Friday, May 7, 2004.

Fandango is no stranger to high visibility events in Baltimore. The Fandango Event Management Team has produced numerous events for Port Discovery, the National Aquarium in Baltimore, and the Maryland Science Center, as well as the complete series of events for the Ehrlich Inaugural Celebration last year. "We are thrilled to be working with BACVA on this project." says Lloyd Balman, Director of Sales for Fandango.
