Fandango produces National Women of Color Awards
BALTIMORE, MD—October 18, 2004—Baltimore-based Fandango Special Events has been awarded the contract to produce special events for the prestigious National Women of Color Technology Awards Conference October 28 through 30, 2004, in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Women of Color Technology Awards Conference, organized by Career Communications Group of Baltimore (CCG), annually celebrates super achievements of minority women working in the fields of technology, engineering, science, and math. It is one of CCG’s numerous initiatives to increase minority participation in technology fields. As the Awards program producer, Fandango is responsible for full event management, vendor coordination, and multi-media presentations for three events, which are expected to attract a total attendance of up to 2,000 people from across the U.S..

Other signature events recently produced by Fandango include the Opening Ceremony for the Jewish Community Center's Maccabi Games, the national conference of the Retina Society and the Grand Opening of the Baltimore Visitors Center.
