Graphic Designer / Industrial Designer

Reports To:

Production Manager

Supervises

N/A

Primary Accountability

  • Design new props and inventory
  • Design logos and work with existing logos for signs, and other media
  • Assure project meets quality standards and production deadlines

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

  • Work with Creative Team, Production Team & Account Executives to design and execute customer orders
  • Custom Designs including detailed, realistic 3-D Renderings of event concepts and floorplans
  • Brainstorm creative concepts and develop conceptual thumbnails and storyboards; Create corporate stage sets & tradeshow exhibit booth designs
  • Marketing Material design and production
  • Reproduce company logos; modify scanned images; produce images to be transferred to vinyl for custom signs
  • Keep abreast of products and resources for meeting deadlines while meeting budget ant time restrictions

Secondary Functions

If delegated, assists with compiling project bids

Other duties as assigned.

Interacts With:

Production Manager, Account Executives, Artists, Supervisors, Managers, and Staff Members.

Required Education

Bachelors Degree in Fine Art, Graphic Design, Industrial or Interior Design

Required Experience

  • At least three (3) years paid experience as a professional graphic designer
  • Special Events/ Trade Show design experience a plus

Measurable Performance Standards

Meet established deadlines to supply needs for scheduled events

Required Skills

  • Expert with Drafting Programs; Vectorworks experience is required
  • Expert skills with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator in a Mac Environment
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and InDesign, and Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proficiency with modern technology (digital photography, DVD-R, etc)
