Contact Us Internship Program

interns

Fandango Interns Melissa Malkin and Elizabeth Singer at a Johns Hopkins Lacrosse Fundraiser.

Internship Objectives

To gain experience in aspects of marketing, public relations, and/or graphic design as it relates to the special events industry.

Overview of the Internship

Internships are offered in the spring, summer and fall semesters. Interns are expected to work 12-15 hours per week for a 14-16 week period. Schedules may vary depending on the student's academic needs. All internships are unpaid/college credit only. During the internships, students have the opportunity to interact with professionals in various roles, such as sales, graphic designers, event producers and artists. Interns are able to observe how these different people within the organization work together to produce an event.

"I wanted to let you know that on Friday I was hired by FEMA as a Public Information Officer. I will be deployed to New Orleans next week to help with the hurricane relief efforts. My experience at Fandango gave me some concrete examples of my writing skills to share with FEMA and I wanted to thank you for that opportunity."
