Event Profiles Paul’s Place
The Objective: Bring to life a vivid and memorable fundraising gala, which would enliven and entertain the guests and supporters of Paul's Place, and encourage them to be on-going supporters of Paul's Place programs.
Paul's Place is an outreach center in the Pigtown/Washington Village community of Baltimore. As with any non-profit fundraiser, the budget was quite challenging. What the staff and volunteers did have was a dedicated spirit and commitment to raise funds and friends, so that the mission at Paul's Place, empowering the people of Pigtown, could continue and grow.
What they needed was someone to work with them to channel their resources into a foundation for a successful fundraiser this year, and in years to come. They enlisted the aid of Fandango. The result? $67,000 raised at The Magical Mystery Tour, an increase of 65% over the previous year. Attendance? 414 guests, a 100% increase over last year. Volunteer morale? Highest ever.
