The Objective: To reinvent a common theme by utilizing Fandango Productions' unique creative/design services to build an environment that is unique, visually impactful, and most importantly, memorable for the guests of the event.
Known across the country for its proprietary event concepts, this time, the Fandango imaginations crossed international borders to launch the most exclusive social event that the Pittsburgh social scene had ever witnessed.
Building upon their client’s (Creative Affairs) original request for a pink theme party, the Fandango designers sought to take this concept to new heights by incorporating an international twist.
Initially challenged with how to tie a 7-room country club together and knowing that fluidity amongst the various rooms was pivotal to the look and feel of the event, the Fandango creative team chose to design expansive and encompassing pink rooms into one cohesive and dynamic look, each with it’s own international signature.
The designers’ imaginations were also challenged with how to create an event that engaged both adults and tweens simultaneously. They rose to the challenge by creating and incorporating strategic elements that appealed to both of the age groups. Youthful elegance was portrayed in the colorful cupcakes and pink luggage tags that served as the ticket into the Pink the World event. For the adults, the cocktail hour was an oasis, inspired by the richness of India; while the Paris chic inspired dessert lounge served the most delectable of French pastries and gastronomies.
Fandango exercised every possible detail of the event from beginning to end, taking guests on an enthralling journey from the moment they entered the country club until their departing moment. In the end, the event was a 13-year-old girl’s pink fantasy come true, combined with a touch of sophistication and class that, by the time it was over, left both adults and children of all ages in awe.
